Yallah Coffee

Yallah Coffee is a single-origin specialty roastery based in Cornwall. The business has a stated social and environmental mission at its core, including a transparency commitment that extends to publishing not just producer prices but also its own margins.

One of the more distinctive aspects of the operation is that some coffee is shipped to the UK by sail, reducing the carbon footprint of the supply chain. Yallah sources through what it calls its Trust range and publishes its coffee buying standards publicly.

The business supports the Girls Gotta Run initiative in Ethiopia and the IWCA, an organisation expanding women's coffee programmes from Latin America into Africa. Yallah operates retail subscriptions, wholesale, and a small network of physical locations, and recently moved to paper bag packaging after a previous stint with recyclable plastic.
