Square Root Coffee

Square Root Coffee roasts at Edington Station Yard in the heart of Wiltshire, a former railway goods yard in the village of Edington. The roastery is a wholesale-focused operation, supplying cafes and hospitality businesses rather than selling direct to consumers, and works with a small number of speciality green bean importers whose sourcing includes above-market payments to farmers.

The roasting setup centres on a drum roaster called Laura, and the team approach each new green coffee with extensive profile roasting to find the flavour sweet spot before bringing it to customers. Given that coffee is a seasonal crop, the range changes as harvests come and go.
