Sea Island Coffee has spent roughly 20 years specialising in rare and geographically unusual origins: Jamaica Blue Mountain, Hawaii Kona, St Helena, Pitcairn Island, the Galapagos, and Yemeni coffee sit alongside more familiar East African and Central American lots. The business grew out of a sister company that had been trading green coffee beans from notable estates for decades, and was founded in 2007 to make those coffees available directly to consumers.

The range is structured around provenance. Sea Island organises its shop by origin, varietal, process, and taste profile, and sells both roasted coffee and green beans.

Products include Nespresso-compatible pods, loose beans, and gift sets packaged in matte black boxes. The business holds a 4.6/5 rating on Trustpilot and ships to the UK and US.
