Ouseburn Coffee Co. opened in 2012 on Foundry Lane in Newcastle's Ouseburn Valley, and describes itself as the North East's original specialty coffee roasters. The roastery is still based at Albion Row in Ouseburn (NE6 1LQ) and supplies retail through several Newcastle locations: their flagship Harvest coffee house in Jesmond, a concession at Fenwick Foodhall in the city centre, and a weekend coffee cart at Tynemouth Station Market where the business first started serving customers.
They focus on Arabica beans with a seasonal sourcing approach. Their range includes single origin and blend options, including a Women's Co-op lot and a Decaf RFA (Rainforest Alliance).
The business sells nationally online with subscriptions and free P&P, while maintaining its strong physical presence across Newcastle.
