Lindfield Coffee Works was founded in 2015 in Lindfield, West Sussex and has grown from a single roastery into a business with three cafes, a roasting and training facility, and a wholesale network supplying over 30 hospitality venues. The roastery and training space sits just outside Lindfield and houses the production operation alongside a barista training room and meeting space available to wholesale partners.

Two of their supply relationships are direct trade partnerships with farms in Colombia. The business reports having paid partner farmers an additional £4,000 above market price, money which has been reinvested into farm infrastructure and coffee quality.

Training and career development are treated as core to the business model rather than an add-on, covering barista skills, customer service and leadership for both in-house teams and wholesale accounts. The stated ambition is to become a recognised centre for hospitality training in the South East.
