Hinba Coffee Roasters is based on the Isle of Seil in Argyll on Scotland's West Coast. The founders travelled internationally before returning to Scotland to start the roastery, positioning their location as central to the product: the roastery makes a point of the clean Hebridean air as part of the roasting environment.
Hinba roasts single-origin specialty coffees and sells through subscriptions and one-off online purchases. The Isle of Seil location, connected to the mainland by the Clachan Bridge, makes Hinba one of the more remote roasteries in the UK.
The range is modest in size, focused on a small number of origins at any given time.
