Hampton Roast Coffee

Hampton Roast Coffee is a solo-operated roastery based in Larne, County Antrim in Northern Ireland. It was founded by Rhyan McCoy, who began experimenting with coffee roasting at home in 2017 using improvised equipment, bought his first proper roaster in 2019, and formally launched the business in January 2021 after developing his technique during the pandemic period when café closures created demand for home-roasted coffee.

The roastery focuses on single-origin coffees and operates a subscription service alongside one-off purchases. All coffees are roasted on demand.

Hampton Roast is one of a small number of dedicated specialty roasters operating in Northern Ireland.
