Curious Roo

Curious Roo is a specialty coffee roaster and wholesale supplier based in Chiswick, west London, operating from a facility at 11 Power Road, W4. Founded by Edwin and Magda, who spent a year in Uganda before deciding to leave conventional employment and build the business, the roastery started in a warehouse in British Grove and in 2024 moved into a purpose-converted former scuba diving centre.

The fit-out was done largely by the founders themselves. The business has four defined wholesale pillars: coffee supply, equipment rental and sale, white label production for cafe brands, and training delivered through the Artisan Coffee School, which is run in-house.

A dedicated wholesale manager, head of training, and head of coffee handle the main commercial functions. The roastery sells direct online and by subscription, and supplies independent cafes across the UK.
