Common Coffee is a specialty roaster based at Rosemains Steading, Midlothian, just outside Edinburgh. The business runs a deliberately tight range of six coffees, structured not by origin but by flavour profile: Bold, Strong, Sweet, Bright, Complex, and Decaf.

The intention is to make specialty coffee accessible without requiring customers to already know what they want from a single-origin Ethiopian or a washed Colombian. The roastery is linked to Mayvn cafe in Edinburgh as its main hospitality presence, and operates an online shop with wholesale accounts.

Packaging is fully recyclable. The approach of fixing the flavour profile while rotating the seasonal beans behind it is a practical editorial decision that distinguishes Common from roasters who change their whole lineup with the harvest cycle.
