Casa Espresso has been operating in Shipley, Bradford since 2000, when founder Tony started the business from a spare room at home. The name 'Casa' comes from that domestic origin.

Tony set out initially as an importer and distributor of Italian espresso machines, and the company became the first licensed importer of Sanremo in the UK, a relationship they still hold today. After Tony died in 2007, his son Nino took over and shifted the business toward coffee roasting.

In 2014 Casa Espresso invested in its first roaster, making it Bradford's first speciality coffee roaster. Great Taste Awards followed in 2019 and for two consecutive years after that, with some of those award-winning coffees remaining in the core range.

The business holds Rocket Certified Authentic status and is a Made in Yorkshire Producer, supplying independent coffee shops, delis, restaurants, and breweries across the region.
