Scotland's leading specialty coffee event, run by Dear Green Coffee Roasters each April.
Glasgow Coffee Festival is the biggest specialty coffee event in Scotland, and unusually it is still run by the person who started it. Lisa Lawson founded it in 2014 and runs it through her own roastery, Dear Green. The 2026 edition was its 12th, and it sold out.
It is held at The Briggait, a former Victorian fish market on the Clyde, and in 2026 it grew into the neighbouring Clydeside Halls for the first time. A ticket gets you more than 50 stalls from local roasters and cafes, free coffee, tastings, talks, roasting demonstrations and workshops.
The competition side is serious: 2026 hosted the SCA UK Brewers Cup, a recognised national qualifier, alongside the first Best Roaster UK. The festival has run without single use cups since 2018, with rinsing stations on site instead.
